The Urbaco product is the undisputable world leader in bollards, offering a range to suit your needs.
Retractable bollards are most suited where vehicular traffic control is required around pedestrian areas. Bollards are commonly fitted in shopping malls, streets, bus lanes and sporting areas. Additional locations where bollard use may be warranted include schools, universities and buildings. Bollards can be controlled by remote transmitters, proximity cards and other access systems.
Security Range Automatic Retractable Bollards
Conceived to ensure strategic safety against ram-vehicles, the Urbaco range of high security bollards are the answer to the most demanding requirements of access control and impact resistance.
With use in airports, government and military facilities and other buildings that may require heightened security, Urbaco bollards are so solid that three together can withstand the impact generated by a 7-ton truck travelling at a speed of 50km/h.
Even when fully extended, more than 1/4 the length of bollard head remains lined by the patented monobloc® double-lid, increasing the impact resistance.
Watch the ONE50 EVO automated bollard in action.
Urbaco is the first manufacturer in the world to have performed two crash tests on the same bollard according to the latest international standards.
The crash tests demonstrated the strength and high level of security of the ONE50 EVO bollard, which remains operational even after having stopped two ramming trucks.
The ONE50 EVO bollard is composed of a raw cast iron head, which provides high impact resistance, covered with a sleeve in steel or stainless steel. Each bollard is equipped with an innovative interchangeable sleeve system that allows you to customise the appearance of the access points and repair damaged heads in under 5 minutes. The new ONE50 EVO concept makes on site sleeve replacement easy and quick, without using any hoisting means.
